The second half of 2022 sees us welcoming an incredibly exciting, new development: we have expanded our operations in the Caribbean with a new destination – Cuba. Added to Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, Cuba is now Discova’s 4th destination offering in the Americas, and 15th globally.
Launching operations in a new destination has left us feeling especially energised for what lies ahead as travel returns. Cuba’s alluring vivacity, warmth and nostalgic spirit is what we are most eager to share with our partners and their curious travellers.
For you, our partners, Discova’s access to private-owned products means that you can provide your travellers with more exclusive, unique travel experiences in Cuba that would otherwise be inaccessible.
The expansion to a new destination is the first for us this year, but we already have two more in planning around the world by end of 2025.
And why did we choose Cuba? There’s a rare, magnetic draw factor here. Simon summed it up: “In my experience, when people visited Cuba, they would go year in, year out. They go not for the first time, but for the eighth, ninth or tenth time. They go back to the same places because they made genuine connections there, they made friends and they like that exchange of cultures. It’s a very friendly and inviting destination.”
