Great News for Partners as 7-Day Cancellation Policy Extended

This week, we are happy to announce some exciting news that we hope can encourage some optimism going into the next year. We understand it is vital that travellers can book with confidence, so we are extending our 7-day cancellation policy.

Here is a letter from Andrew Turner, Global Director of Sales, explaining some of the details:

Dear Valued Partner,

As the travel industry continues to face global pressure with border restrictions constantly changing, as well as local and national lockdowns. We know that any enquiry that you receive right now is precious and want to assist you where possible to convert these leads into bookings.

We are currently seeing an uplift in enquiry for travel from September 2021 onwards into 2022 for Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan. With these trends in mind, we would like to give you and your customers some security when booking any Discova destination.

Our 7-day cancellation policy is now being extended for travel until the end of December 2022, full details below.

New bookings FIT/Tailor Made:

For new FIT bookings made between 9th November 2020 and 31st March 2021, for travel until 31st December 2022 we will adjust the cancellation policy to a full refund up to 7 days from departure.

Please note, this is strictly based on services that will work with us on our 7-day policy and may not be available on your preferred service and is season dependant. Full details will be confirmed at booking stage, please let us know if you require a 7-day cancellation period at the time of enquiry so we can select the right services for you.

Group Series/GIT:

Cancellation terms are being handled on a case by case basis with our partners, we will endeavour to offer the most flexible cancellation terms dependant on the services being provided. Please speak to your BDM/Account manager for further information.

Existing bookings not yet travelled FIT/Tailormade:

For existing bookings travelling between 9th November 2020 and 28th February 2021, you can postpone your customers’ travel plans by up to 18 months from the original travel date with no admin charges – original cancellation dates will apply.
