Active day tours in Thailand

A land of contrasts, Thailand has a bit of everything: frenzied but charming city life, some of the most revered beaches in the world, and densely vegetated mountain ranges home to quiet hillside villages.

Here your travellers can:

Go on a Bangkok Cycling and Canal Tour

This 4-5 hour activity offers your clients a fun mix as they explore the iconic backwaters of Bangkok by boat and bicycle. They will cycle through the city by day, visiting a much-loved Portuguese bakery, temples, tree-lined canals and traditional artist workshops, all whilst spotting famed historical sites along the way. This tour has fun activities for the whole family, and includes a local Thai lunch in the grounds of a community temple and a long-tail boat cruise down the Chao Praya River.

Explore Bangkok at Night

Bangkok buzzes during the day and glows at night. For those looking to experience the city’s unique evening atmosphere, we offer an intriguing and comfortable 3-4 hour cycling tour. Your clients will pedal through quieter backstreets and visit famous temple sites like Wat Arun and Wat Pho when the crowds have dispersed, marveling at their spectacularly illuminated architecture. Between temple explorations, they will take in the sights, sounds and smells of Bangkok’s famous Flower Market, pausing here to find the best street food treats with the help of their guide.

Uncover Chiang Mai’s History

Chiang Mai is evolving into a charming, modern city, but remains home to a rich history, old city walls and gleaming golden temples. Highlights on this late morning cycle tour (3-4 hours, variable depending on group) include Tha Phae Gate, Somphet Market for some local treats and fruits, the city’s oldest temple Wat Chiang Man, the City Navel and Wat Chedi Luang. This leisurely, informative route is particularly great for families, and will offer unique insights with the company of an experienced guide.

Explore the Chiang Mai Countryside

Nature enthusiasts will spend a full day cycling on this soft adventure through the Chiang Mai countryside. After travelling by train to the ancient city of Lamphun (30 minutes), the discovery begins as guests explore a historical temple by bicycle. From here, they will meander past rice paddies and peaceful villages. Stops include a visit to a quaint wood carving village, an ancient forest shrine and a simple Thai lunch along the Ping River.

Marvel at Phuket’s Secret Viewpoints

This beautiful leisurely hiking half-day experience will take your travellers to two of Phuket’s lesser-known viewpoints. The colour contrast between the green grass in the rainy season (or brownish in the dry season) against the blue sea here is phenomenal. For a relaxing way to end the hiking excursion, the beautiful Nai Harn beach awaits. Your clients can dip into the blue waters or simply relax on the beach (should Nai Harn be crowded, we have an alternative, equally stunning and less-visited option).
