Dear Valued Partners and Friends,
A lot has happened over these past months.
As this global pandemic forced borders to close and people to stay at home, the world as we know it was ground to an abrupt halt. Travel – our life and passion – ceased to exist, at least temporarily, and our hearts go out to all the people who have been affected by this unprecedented crisis.
Despite this standstill, Discova has not been standing still; our teams have been working ceaselessly to ensure the safe return of all our customers and I am proud of the care and dedication with which they have managed refunds and cancellations.
We might be physically distanced, but I believe we have come closer as a family. From trading family recipes and supporting our local communities to upgrading technology, innovating product, and upskilling our people through new online training, the Discova family has been using this time to strengthen our core and our relationships.
Our eyes are on the future and the day will come when we can welcome you and your travellers to our destinations in Asia and the Americas again. There is no doubt that the world and travel will be different when this is over, but we strongly believe that with every crisis come new opportunities.
Let us work together to make our industry better, stronger and, above all, more sustainable. As we prepare for a post-Covid future, Discova will focus on developing new projects for our communities, crafting unique product and using what we have learnt from these times of hardship to continue to stay connected with our partners.
Equally, we are working hard on revising our already robust health and safety standards to be fit for travel in a post-Covid world. From new training programs to opt-out activities and detailed hygiene assessments, we are committed to ensuring the well-being of our travellers when they can explore our beautiful destinations again.
There is a world of possibilities that awaits, and I am looking forward to entering these new horizons together with you!
Stay safe – we will get through this,
