Itinerary Summary

Day 1: Arrival in Kuala Lumpur

The guide greets visitors on arrival and accompanies them to the hotel.

Day 2: Kuala Lumpur

Enjoy a jam-packed walking tour. Start with a visit to the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur – Masjid Jamek. Continue the walk to some of the iconic landmarks around the old district, including Sultan Abdul Samad Clock Tower, Independence Square, River or Life and Central Market. See the transition from Old Kuala Lumpur to the futuristic city in just a short train ride to Kampung Baru. Cross the famous pedestrian bridge inspired by bougainvillaea while admiring the skyscrapers, including the iconic Petronas Twins Towers. Search for photo stops in KLCC Park before having a vegetarian lunch in a beautiful Chinese Temple canteen. In the evening, head to Chinatown for more snacks, including rotis, claypot chicken and rice, and a selection of coffees and teas.

Day 3: Malacca Private Tour

Head to Malacca from KL for a tour of the Portuguese and Dutch settlements. Visit St Peter’s Church and drive past the largest 17th-century Chinese cemetery outside of China, located at Bukit China. Going through the Portuguese Settlement, view the famous gateway “Port De Santiago” and the ruins of St Paul’s Church lined by 17th Century Dutch tombstones. After, take a stroll down Jonker Street, known for its eclectic blend of cultures.

Day 4: Transfer to Cameron Highlands

After checking out, enjoy a leisurely 3-hour drive to the hilly Cameron Highlands. At 4,750 feet, the highland is significantly cooler than the lowland with fresh mountain air. Travellers are free to explore on their own or enjoy the facilities at the hotel.

Day 5: Mossy Forest and Tea Plantation

Hop into our Land Rover and drive up to the highest mountain accessible by road in Southeast Asia. Walk with our nature guides into the Mossy Forest to see some of the most exotic plants around, like the pitcher plant, orchids, primitive ferns, spices and medicinal plants. A short drive down the mountain will bring you to the Sungei Palas ‘BOH’ Tea Factory. A factory tour will be conducted before you may appreciate the many varieties of tea offered at the tea shop.  After checking out & lunch, take a van to Penang Island. The journey will take about 3 ½ hours.

Day 6: Penang Tour with Afternoon Tea

Explore George Town in the morning, where all sites are within walking distance – look out for the street art associated with George Town. Then, take a short funicular train up Penang Hill amid the centuries-old colonial bungalows for a spot of afternoon tea with fresh fruit and pastries. The last stop is The Habitat, the latest attraction on Penang Hill, a wildlife reserve with a canopy walk that is home to a wide variety of native plant and animal species.
