Havana – Viñales – Bay of Pigs – Trinidad – Cienfuegos
Day 1: Arrival in Havana
Upon arrival, your guide will escort you to your private transport and hotel for check-in. Once settled in, enjoy pre-dinner cocktails on a rooftop bar, dinner, and a lively night in Havana’s most famous nightclub and art gallery.
Day 2: Havana
Begin your second day with an exploration of Old Havana’s contrasting architectural landscape in an open-top vintage car. Next, head to a private local farm, learn about organic food production and pick a few ingredients for a lesson in signature Cuban cooking – enjoy the results over lunch with some cocktails. Afterwards, delve into a curated art and artisans tour that takes you to the homes and workshops of local creatives. End the day with dinner and a visit to a unique, underground jazz club.
Day 3: Havana – Viñales – Day Experience
Head out to the Viñales Valley for a day of countryside explorations. Visit a tobacco farm and learn about the intricacies of cigar-making, ride through the valley on horseback, and discover the natural wonders and caves of the region. End the day meandering through the charming town of Viñales, before heading back to Havana for a chic dinner experience.
Day 4: Havana
Get better acquainted with the city on this day as you walk through the UNESCO-listed Old Havana. After visiting the area’s famous buildings on-foot, head over to the magnetic, mural-painted alley of Callejón de Hamel, where Afro-Cuban culture comes alive through art and music. Then, get a taste of Cuba’s much-loved cigars and rum, before enjoying dinner at a seaside restaurant.
Day 5: Havana – Trinidad
Find yourself transported to a different atmosphere of Cuba on its central-southern shore. Today we will drive to the Bay of Pigs, where you can spend the day basking in the sun and enjoy snorkelling and swimming in inviting, turquoise waters. After a relaxing day, we will head to soulful Trinidad for the night. Take part in a horse-riding or walking excursion in the Santa Rosa Valley, and delight in the atmosphere of dinner set in a restaurant in a traditional colonial building.
Day 6: Trinidad
Get ready for a morning out in nature! Journey to El Cubano Park for a 30 to 45-minute hike to the beautiful Javira Waterfall, where you can jump in the refreshing waters and enjoy a light lunch. Spend the rest of the day on a walking tour through colourful, historically-rich Trinidad, and visit an old sugar plantation estate. End the day with dinner in a museum-style restaurant and attend a concert or jam session in a charming culture and music centre.
Day 7: Trinidad – Cienfuegos – Havana
Today it’s time to head back to Havana, but first you will make a stop in UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cienfuegos, for a leisurely walking tour. Known as “The Southern Pearl” and beautifully set on a natural bay, Cienfuegos boasts neoclassical buildings, a New Orleans influence, and the historic castle of Our Lady of Angels of Jagua. Enjoy lunch before heading back to Havana, where you will end the day with dinner and can take the evening at your leisure.
Day 8: Havana – Departure
Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your hotel and taking a private transfer to Havana’s International Airport.
